Virtual private helpdeskSome problems are less efficiently dealt with by phone. Sometimes an issue is too obscure or complicated to be dealt with through a user and we require remote access to your PC/Network. At the top of the screen you will see a tab saying "Remote Support". Clicking this tab will extend a panel that contains a box. Your technician will give you a six digit number. Type the number in to the box, click the button and follow a few simple instructions and voila- we are on your PC. When using this form of remote support, you should be aware of the following: 1. You can observe the actions of the technician as they take place. 2. We only have access to your PC during that session- we need permission each time we remotely connect to your screen. 3. The first time this happens it can be a bit spooky- don't be frightened, it is not super-natural just "super support". |
