We are looking for a Product Owner to join our growing Product team.

As a Product Owner, you’ll be at the heart of delivering innovative digital solutions for our clients. Reporting to the Product Team Leader, you’ll collaborate with like-minded professionals to help clients achieve their goals. Working across multiple projects, you'll engage closely with Blue Frontier’s sales, design, engineering, and marketing teams—tailoring each solution to meet client and user needs. Your role will be key in ensuring our products are well-planned, strategically developed, and deliver real value.

We have offices in Salisbury, Southampton & Bristol from which you are welcome to work from. Hybrid working is preferred but can be made flexible around home life.

This position is full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We work 7.5 hours per day, between the hours of 8am - 6pm.

Blue Frontier pay competitive industry salaries based on experience. 

Responsibilities when working on a project:

  • Lead and facilitate discovery workshops to uncover user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Understand user needs and articulate problems succinctly to drive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and define the best solutions.
  • Champion a user-centric approach in all decision-making, ensuring the end-user experience remains a top priority.
  • Own the product design process, ensuring a balance between user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Translate designs and user insights into clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Create and maintain a product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and client objectives.
  • Own backlog prioritisation and release planning, balancing business value, technical constraints, and user impact.
  • Participate in internal retrospectives and sprint planning sessions, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Lead external demo and review sessions, clearly communicating progress and gathering stakeholder feedback.
  • Produce clear and concise release notes to communicate new features and updates effectively.
  • Support the Project Management team by providing key insights and updates for client and internal reporting.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, applying best practices to improve our products and processes.

  • Experience working with Web inc eCommerce, and Mobile Apps
  • Experience working with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Experience running requirement gathering interviews/workshops

Desirable skills:

  • Conflict resolution
  • Azure DevOps/JIRA understanding
  • Full UK driving license
