Matt joined us in 2021 as a junior test analyst after having previously worked with software testing for an insurance company. His main responsibility is testing support requests for website updates from developers, but he is also involved in larger projects, which require not only testing abilities but also organisational skills.
Matt is currently working on completing the ISTQB qualification that will provide him with international testing accreditations. He is a very devoted and eager learner and is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure deadlines are met and that our products meet the best possible standards.
What are your favourite things about Blue Frontier?
There are a lot of reasons why I love working at Blue Frontier, but my favourite thing would be how friendly and knowledgeable everyone is. The range of different websites we support also always keeps the work interesting.
What does your Blue Frontier role involve?
I run specific tests on websites depending what has been updated. For example, if the CMS has been updated I would run functionality tests, which can vary quite a lot depending on the site, to ensure everything still works. If the core web vitals or design of a website have been updated, then I would run compatibility and non-functional tests, along with some standard spot checks.
What would your dream project be?
I would like to work with a project that is something brand new to me. I enjoy new challenges and always want to be improve my knowledge and skillset.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I really enjoy keeping fit, I’m very conscious about my diet and I go to the gym pretty much every day to help maintain my health and fitness. I also love reading, mainly sci-fi and fantasy and I love everything Star Wars. Movies, novels, series, video games, you name it!
Everyone at Blue Frontier has skills and expertise to offer to the benefit of our company and clients.
