You can count on the team at Blue Frontier to push themselves for a great cause, or in this case, get pushed out of a plane! In January, two of our Directors, James Fry and Marc Whittingham, will be taking part in a skydive for charity.
We have watched many undertake this activity as our Salisbury office is located next to the Old Sarum airfield. This is where GoSkydive organises this fascinating and at the same time terrifying activity on a daily basis. Our brave Directors have decided to stop being mere spectators and take part.
We do however need your help to raise donations. We want to financially aid two charities that are close to our hearts and raise some greatly needed funds for them. Our Technical Director, Marc, will be skydiving for Macmillan Cancer Research whilst our Managing Director, James, will be jumping for Salisbury Hospice. We are hoping to raise £1,500 in total - £750 for each of these incredible charities.
Every year we organise an annual fundraising coffee morning for Macmillan as it is a charity that has supported quite a few members of the Blue Frontier team in the past.
We are deeply moved and in awe of the great work that the Salisbury Hospice does for the local community and we want to help this non-profit as well.
To support these incredible charities and our brave skydivers, you can donate online on our Just Giving pages. There are links to both pages above so you can choose which charity to donate to.
We will be sharing video footage of the skydives, so as long as we raise our targets you can look forward to seeing James and Marc’s faces as they freefall from 10,000 feet!
