We are thrilled to announce that we recently welcomed two more new team members to both our Salisbury and Southampton offices. Our new starters have managerial, admin and IT engineering experience and have already begun to offer a great deal of expertise to Blue Frontier and our clients. We would like to introduce Melissa, our new office coordinator, and James, our new IT engineer.
Melissa is our new office coordinator with a wide range of work experience gained from managing a retail store and working as an admin assistant in a previous role.
As most of our staff are working from home, Melissa has the whole office to herself, when asked what she has been up to, she replied:
“At the moment, I’m working as part of the skeleton crew in an almost entirely empty office, so I’m mostly just looking forward to being able to meet my colleagues in person! Once the crisis is under control, I will deal with a lot of the day to day matters at the office, keeping things running, billing, assisting other departments and greeting clients.”
She is a very fast learner with a lot of creativity and great personal skills. “I think there’s a lot of opportunities for growth here, so I’m looking forward to expanding upon my skills, both personally and professionally."
Melissa is a woman with many hobbies and interests. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, drawing, playing Xbox, travelling, and going to gigs and festivals with her friends.
James, our fantastic new IT Engineer, gives some insight into his background, interests and role at Blue Frontier:
"Previously I worked for a UK telecom’s company. I started as an apprentice when I left school at 18 and learnt a lot. I found my passion for Linux and enterprise IT quickly after moving around different teams there.
At Blue Frontier, I’m in the newly created infrastructure team and my main responsibilities’ include helping provide 3rd line support to the tech team, answering any and all queries relating to hosting and infrastructure and providing DevOps support to areas of the business.
I’ve been tasked with a variety of work so far. No two days have been the same and considering the on-going situation – I’ve been able to get up to speed and make an impact remotely, before meeting any of my colleagues. I think this is a testament to the staff at Blue Frontier and their support and guidance that they provide from day one."
James is hardworking and eager to learn, and has already made a positive difference to the smooth running of the newly introduced Infrastructure department at Blue Frontier. Outside of work, James enjoys gaming and music, and is a devoted Arsenal Football Club fan.
We are delighted to welcome both Melissa and James to the team and can't wait to see them achieve their goals and grow with us as a company.
