Meet Adam
IT Engineer
Adam joined the Blue Frontier team in 2024 as an IT Engineer. Adam has over 8 years of experience in the IT Industry, beginning his career in 2016 in an apprenticeship before becoming a full time IT support analyst. Adam has worked in 1st and 2nd line in previous jobs.
Adam works in an all-rounder role here at Blue Frontier supporting clients and in-house staff with Hardware, Software, Networking, Mobility etc. This is an important role as without functionable IT in the workplace and outside of the workplace it becomes more difficult for clients to do their day-to-day jobs effectively.
Adam is a passionate, hardworking and determined worker, experienced in delivering IT Support and matching customer satisfaction. Adam’s role includes working with colleagues and coming together to get the best results so being a great team player and easy-going individual always bodes well for the staff and company.
One of my favourite things at Blue Frontier is the unconditional care for staff making sure there’s always support where necessary, work related and personal. The staff are provided with fresh fruit and beverages and are treated like they belong. I could not fault the company and working in a friendly and supportive environment is so important to my role.
My role can be different day-by-day with lots of variety in the calls and tickets we receive. To have some insight I can be involved with supporting Windows 10/Windows 11 and Server based environments, MACOS and Apple products, Android devices, Office 365 and SharePoint, Software and Applications, Web Based Apps and Browsers, Firewalls and Networking etc. No day is the same in my role and it also involves project work like email and SharePoint migrations and making sure we have up to date documentation for all clients and known issues.
My dream project would be to get more involved with the planning, implementation, configuration and testing of servers and switches and more hands-on work as it is a very enjoyable aspect of my role. Cyber Security and AI is also an avenue that interests me so if a project would become available, I wouldn’t hesitate to put myself in for consideration. Artificial Intelligence is the future and would be interesting if a project came my way. It would be hard to turn down.
In my spare time I like to go out on walks with my fiancé and dog taking in the fresh air and nature. I also like to go out for dinner, to the cinema and just try new activities and thrills. I like to go out with friends and play games with my mates to pass the time. I love to travel having been all over Europe but it’s my dream to branch out to Americas, Asia and Africa. I love going on road trips across the UK and would like to drive over Europe as well. I love music but especially something that can boost the mood or maybe even make you dance a little. I love football and it was my dream to be a professional footballer when I was young (Didn’t go to plan). I am a Manchester United fan and have been to Old Trafford several times.
