At the start of 2025, we launched our 'Year of 20s' initiative to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The initiative aimed to push growth for our business and the industry as a whole and give back to our local community and employees. Read on to discover what we have achieved throughout our milestone year.
Furthering our industry
This year, we have continued to develop new R&D projects that help both our business and our industry innovate and pave the way forward. With AI continuing to transform the digital landscape, we launched an AI-powered internal focus group dedicated to researching ways to boost our operational efficiency and deliver smarter, more effective solutions for our clients. Meanwhile, we've hit the ground running with an all-new market research offering that leverages social listening tactics to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of gathering market insights for our clients. Simon Stone has also refined and expanded our PR service, which is now poised to help businesses further their brand awareness and increase visibility on AI search platforms.
Throughout the year, we have been committed to publishing thought leadership pieces and unique data insights. In February, we launched the first installment of our Digital Horizons whitepaper, focused on the digital trends set to redefine business strategies in 2025. In October, we released our second whitepaper exploring the digital transformation challenges and opportunities facing the NHS. In addition, we have released informative blogs and social posts with key insights into the digital landscape, and we have a new whitepaper on the way which focuses on shifting consumer behaviours as we move into 2026.

Giving back to the community
We’re always proud to support fresh talent, and this year we offered 20 days of work experience placements. Carina completed a 5-day placement in Bristol and gained so much experience and confidence that she started a master's in digital marketing this September. Dara then joined the team in Southampton, building valuable skills across all areas of marketing, whilst Charlotte spent her placement in Salisbury, getting hands-on experience with our marketing, project, and web teams. Finally, Dotty was welcomed by the team in July, where she learned more about the world of marketing and focused heavily on strategy development. We already have a placement booked for March 2026, as we continue our commitment to supporting the next generation of talent.
We began our charitable and community initiative with an Easter egg donation to Stars Appeal, Southampton Hospitals Charity, and The Grand Appeal in Salisbury, Southampton, and Bristol to bring some Easter cheer to children who might not otherwise have had the chance to celebrate. In July, several team members and their families took part in the Walk for Wards to raise over £600 in support of Salisbury District Hospital. We also raised over £550 during our Macmillan Coffee Morning in September, and have continued to donate to different fundraisers across our local communities throughout the rest of the year.
We have also continued to spotlight outstanding team members, nominated by their colleagues for going the extra mile in their work and encapsulating the values that make Blue Frontier the company it is today. Across the year, Adam Futcher, Rob Johnson, Amy Hacker, Dave Davies, Charlotte Weeks, Ollie Austin, Charlie Regnart, Dan Jackson, Emily Pressler, Chloe Lindsey, and Simon Stone were nominated by their fellow employees for their hard work and contribution to the team.

Celebrating our own growth
Back in June, we officially opened our new London base - a fresh space for collaboration, creativity, and development. Based at Beton by Spacemade, the new office acts as the physical manifestation of our commitment to growth and innovation. Since the grand opening, we’ve welcomed many friendly faces to our London base, including clients and team members.
With a vision to spotlight company successes and to offer more opportunities to network with other professionals in our industry, we made headway with our events initiative. Across our team, we have attended MAD//FEST, brightonSEO, IRX, DTX, and a Google “Accelerate AI Leadgen” event. We exhibited at SEHTA’s 2025 MedTech Expo following the launch of our NHS whitepaper, and also exhibited at four B2BExpos in Bristol, Portsmouth, Reading, and Southampton to talk to business leaders about our innovative IT support offerings. In terms of awards, we are proud to have received a Certificate of Excellence award for 2024 campaign with Sussex Police, and were shortlisted as finalists in two categories at the UK Social Media Awards for our work with Lutosa and British Cables Company.
Since the start of the year, we’ve been giving our teams the chance to request training and upskill and explore new digital innovations and software. Ben & Chloe attended a TikTok HQ advertising training session in London, and we’ve also completed internal Kaseya training to fully embed the platform into our processes. With the initiation of Brandwatch becoming a key platform for our market research service in 2025, Charlotte Weeks has also upskilled team members across marketing, sales, and product to utilise market insights in their strategic recommendations. Several members across the team also gained new qualifications this year, including Hannah Chappell-Cary becoming an ISO13485 Lead Auditor and Implementor, and Shyam Ghedia attaining ISTQB Certified Tester in Usability Testing status.

A significant milestone
It has been a major year of achievements for Blue Frontier, and we wanted to thank everyone who has made it possible.
We recently celebrated our 20th birthday in style at the Pythouse Kitchen Garden, with the four offices coming together for a fantastic evening of food, fun, and music. Each employee also received a special newspaper detailing significant company moments from the past 20 years as a memento.
With our 20-year celebrations officially over, we’re committed to continuing our efforts to drive growth for the business, our local communities, our clients, and wider industries. Make sure you’re following our progress on social media to keep up to date with our mission.
