Meet Simon
PR & Content Specialist
Simon has over seven years of agency experience in digital marketing, with more than five years in PR. Having studied English Literature at the University of Plymouth, Simon has a passion for all things content. He joined the Blue Frontier team in 2024 to grow the PR service.
As our main PR expert, Simon helps to drive our service forward. In addition to PR, he assists clients with content marketing, copywriting, and social media marketing. He uses his strategic and commercial awareness, matched with his ability for high-quality content creation, to deliver results.
Simon really enjoys working as part of a big team and likes the social element and company culture at work. He brings fresh ideas to the table and always likes hearing and learning from other people as well. Simon has excellent attention to detail to ensure his work is always of a high standard.
I like that it’s a collaborative company with many people working together on projects across different teams, creating a sense of community. It’s a place where your ideas are always welcomed, and the company really tries to fit your progression plan around what you enjoy and where you see yourself going.
I support the content and PR areas of the marketing team, creating content based on client objectives and deliverables. For PR, I work in expected areas like brand health monitoring, as well as press release and thought leadership content creation, and also help to build effective strategic plans for clients.
I always particularly enjoy consumer products, as they usually allow you to think more outside the box. In B2B, I’ve also really liked supporting events and crowdfunders, as they use very different marketing strategies and psychologies. But my absolute dream would be to work on anything with music or food – two of my passions.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve loved reading, which has later influenced my passion for writing. I always like discovering new bars and restaurants and catching up with friends. I also enjoy seeing live music, whether that’s at gigs or festivals.
