Christmas: It's many things to many people. A time for reflection, a time to re-connect with people you've missed. It's roast spuds, brussel sprouts (delicious cooked in beer apparently), laughter and thinking of those who can't be with us. And it's even a time for office parties! As normally calm and reserved offices around the country start the slow countdown to the big day, we hope wherever you are, your Christmas is getting off to a great start. We started ours with a gathering at Southampton’s 'Steak of the Art' restaurant on the waterfront for a Christmas dinner and a great game to break the ice.
For impromptu games with friends, 'Who am I?' takes some beating and can frustrate and amuse people in equal measure. For this quick-fire game, all you need are some pieces of paper, a pen and a list of people, places and events. You could be Whitney Houston, Kermit the Frog or Kilimanjaro.
We also managed to get as many staff together as possible for a day of exchanging presents in our Salisbury office, drinking mulled wine and eating some delicious turkey sarnies cooked by our lovely Amanda and wearing ‘those’ jumpers you only get to put on once a year.
As our thoughts turn to family and friends at Christmas, and a chance to relax and recharge our batteries, James, Luke, Marc and Mike and all of us at Blue Frontier would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very happy Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous new year.
The Blue Frontier support desk will be closing at 4pm on Christmas Eve. We will re-open on Thursday 27th December but with a reduced team and a limited support service. Normal service will resume on January 2nd 2019.
Have a lovely Christmas!
