In February 2026, we hosted our first-ever Blue Frontier internal conference aimed at bringing teams together from across the entire business for two days of strategic planning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Sharing ideas and insight

Before the event, we had asked a sample of our clients for feedback to help shape the agenda to ensure our sessions were aligned with their needs and requirements.

Hosted in our Southampton office, team members came from each of the offices for a chance to focus on long-term growth, explore opportunities in AI, strengthen cross-team collaboration, and discuss how we can scale sustainably and strategically. The event also allowed us to strengthen our commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.

Across eight sessions, there were presentations and forums for knowledge sharing and active participation.

The first session explored our business growth ambitions and uncovered that the business had seen a year-on-year increase of almost 20% in January 2026. Across the board, we outlined that we're seeking sustainable and scalable growth across all areas of our business to ensure we remain competitive and future ready.

Leveraging evolving technology

Technology is continuing to create new opportunities for businesses, and we're not afraid of adopting new ways of working to craft a better offering for our clients.

During the event, we discussed enhancements to our digital services and delivery approaches, especially considering major developments across our cyber security, technology, and infrastructure services.

A big topic of conversation was the role of AI in unlocking growth for the business and shaping future solutions and efficiencies. This has been defined more widely in our AI position statement, which outlines our usage principles and policies around experimentation and implementation, environmental impact, boundaries and expectations.

Outlining common missions and goals

One of the key outcomes from the conference was a strengthened and cohesive mission between teams. The conference created opportunities for more integrated, cross-team collaboration between departments, allowing us to move forward with a clear, consistent approach to delivering market-leading digital solutions.

It wasn’t just about work either. At the end of the first day, team members staying overnight in Southampton came together for an evening of drinks and food to unwind and get to know each other outside of a work environment. In the same way as our regular socials, these events create a chance for us to step away from our screens and meet and chat with other faces within the company.

Moving towards the future

With our conference complete, we’re continuing to drive forward change to enhance our service quality and efficiency. While last year was a celebration of our history and sowing the seeds for the year ahead, 2026 is focused on sustained growth and unlocking new opportunities.

With one of the largest ranges of digital services under one roof in the UK, we’re in a prime position to help our clients with whatever marketing, design, development, or IT and cyber assistance they require from one single partner.
