April was a significant month for new starters at Blue Frontier as we welcomed four new team members to both our Southampton and Salisbury offices. Our new recruits have a wealth of experience in marketing, business intelligence, development and technical support.
Amy Godfrey-Bawden has joined our digital marketing team as a content writer and has already produced some great work, some of which you can read in our blog. Amy has experience in writing high quality content, with a keen interest in AI, IOT, business processes, virtual and augmented reality.
"In the short time since graduating, my work experience has been fairly varied. In one of my jobs I found myself assembling Ikea furniture on more than a few occasions, and although I was quite happy with my flat pack abilities, I think I’ll stick to the written word and digital marketing!"
"Something I am really looking forward to is developing new skills in areas like SEO, but I am also looking forward to working in an environment that promotes wellbeing amongst the staff. I am incredibly impressed with the humanity of the business. From what I’ve experienced so far, Blue Frontier is not only a fast growing and successful company, but also a place where you feel valued for the work you do."
- Amy Godfrey-Bawden, Content Writer
Craig Gamble brings a wealth of experience in data analysis. The opportunity to manage, intelligently analyse, and distribute diverse data into readily accessible intelligence can help a company streamline its operation and make important business decisions.
Craig has joined our team as a data analyst, heading up our new Business Intelligence service.
"Since joining Blue Frontier in January 2019, I have carried out a wide range of data analysis work, including report writing, data migrations and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) development."
"It’s been an interesting start to the year and I hope this trend continues throughout my career at this exciting company."
- Craig Gamble, Business Analyst
As our Southampton operation continues to grow, we've bought in the experienced Ben Knowles to join our technical support team. Ben is not only supporting our own internal growing workforce, but also our Southampton-based clients.
"After a couple of decades working for global businesses in an enlightening field engineer role, Blue Frontier has offered an amazing opportunity to take my previous experiences in a different and exciting direction. Made to feel welcome and valued from my first day and hope to further enhance the support function with many future projects."
- Ben Knowles, Technical Support
Jamie Bicknell, who also joins us in the Southampton office, has worked with Joomla and Wordpress for a variety of companies. Jamie has joined our development team and has already made a great impression on both the BF team and clients.
"The warm-hearted and supportive nature of everyone here at Blue Frontier has made me feel very welcomed and part of the team. I look forward to continuing to work on unique, interesting and challenging projects, forming friendships with colleagues and clients, and solving problems that make our client’s work life easier."
- Jamie Bicknell, Web Developer
