This year we decided to enter the Wirehive Awards for the first time and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to entering again next year.
We recently attended the awards evening at the O2 Guildhall, Southampton, which was transformed into Hollywood for one evening only, for ‘A Golden Night in Hollywood’.
Charlie and Nick both dressed in their best and attended the awards evening to represent Blue Frontier. They both thoroughly enjoyed the evening and returned to the office with great news – Blue Frontier has been ranked in 21st position in the Wirehive 100 2017! This is a great achievement for Blue Frontier and comes as a result of all of our amazing team’s hard work. For our first time entering, 21st position is a great place to have been awarded.
The Wirehive 100 League Table recognises the best digital talent in the South of England and with the high standard and volume of competition around, this recognition is a real achievement.
We’d like to say a big well done to all of the other agencies in the league and all of the winners from the night. It’s such an exciting industry to be involved in and it’s always great to network with like-minded individuals and see what other innovative projects are going on out there.
We were also finalists for the ‘Best User Experience’ category, for our work on the BSL Zone app on behalf of the British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust (BSLBT). The BSLBT has an extensive catalogue of programmes on their website but wanted to make it more accessible to their users. Our team built an app that ran on both iOS and Android platforms and was optimised for all screen sizes. We also added functionality for social sharing to encourage use from their target audience.
Blue Frontier is growing extremely quickly and this is all thanks to our amazing team and clients, without whom we wouldn’t be where we are today.
We are always looking to the future and things are looking bright for Blue Frontier, with some exciting new projects around the corner and our office and team ever expanding.
