The Blue Frontier team came together back in the office to flex our muscles and raise funds for the Salisbury Hospice.
Combined, we did over 1000 pull-ups, 700 dips and 2000 squats during our lunchtime, leading to sweat, tears and muscle ache.
Every pull-up was worth £1 and every squat, sit-up or press-up equalled 50p. Together we have raised a total of £3,750 exceeding our target by 250%!
The whole sum raised went directly to the Salisbury Hospice who we will continue to support, given the fantastic work they do. We truly admire their work and commitment to the community. Just last year, the hospice was able to help almost 1,000 people offering nursing and medical care, emotional and practical support, welfare advice, occupational and physiotherapy, complementary therapies, spiritual care, and creative activities.
On the day Nick our videographer was on hand to capture our efforts:
The top performer was our .NET software developer Juraj, raising a total of £370.50!
Next, we had Michael Sumner with £290 and James Fry with £254.
“I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all those who took part and/or otherwise supported Friday’s ‘pull-ups for pounds’ fund raiser. Through enormous generosity, we have easily beaten our £1500 target, and as of today, we have managed to raise £3720 for Salisbury Hospice. Thanks everyone for a great fun day, and for supporting such a brilliant cause.” James Fry, Managing Director
