Wirehive 100 Finalists

Blue Frontier is pleased to announce that we have been named finalists for the Wirehive 100 awards, in the category 'Best User Experience.'

The Wirehive 100 awards is a ceremony to celebrate digital talent in the South of England. An independent panel of judges looks for examples of digital excellence in the industry. To shortlist organisations for user experience, they identify websites or apps that were designed with the user at its heart. 

We entered the awards for our work on the BSL Zone app on behalf of the British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust (BSLBT).

The BSLBT has an extensive catalogue of programmes on their website but wanted to make it more accessible to their users. Our team built an app that ran on both iOS and Android platforms and was optimised for all screen sizes. We also added functionality for social sharing to encourage use from their target audience.

The winner will be announced on Thursday 12 October at the O2 Guildhall, Southampton.
